Before every application upgrade, please carefully refer to all release notes between your existing version and the new version - there may be critical technical or functional changes explained.

*Debian 11 is still LTS, which means it is still supported by Debian creators. However, some new packages coming in the future will slowly but surely cease to work on Debian 11, which means there is no reason to unnecessarily postpone your OS upgrade.

Ruby and NodeJS are strictly mandatory, without these versions you will not be able to run Easy Project.

Or, forget about the management of technological stack and use Docker deployment. It combines the security of on-premises solution with nearly the comfort of cloud solution.

PBI grouping

PB items are now grouped more effectively for reporting, thanks to the addition of the "Name (Opportunities)" option under "Group Results By." This enhancement provides better data visualization and trend tracking, allowing users to analyze opportunities more efficiently. With clearer grouping, generating insightful graphs and meaningful statistics becomes much easier, ultimately improving decision-making and reporting accuracy.

Gantt improvements

In this version, several improvements have been made to the Gantt chart for a smoother and more efficient user experience. Here is the list of enhancements:

• A new button has been added to the Gantt chart, providing direct access to the Quick Project Planner.
  
  
• The baseline name display has been adjusted to ensure the full length of the name is visible.
• Shared milestones are now displayed correctly when filters are applied, ensuring accurate and consistent results.
• Incorrect warning messages in Resource Management have been fixed to ensure clarity and accuracy. Previously, warnings displayed in the Resource Management module incorrectly referenced Gantt, leading to confusion. Now, each module displays the correct and relevant warning messages—Gantt warnings appear in Gantt, while Resource Management warnings are shown in the Resource Management section.
• Milestone parameter filters were added to the project Gantt, allowing users to refine their view and manage milestones more effectively.
• A new feature was implemented to allow manual color selection for task timelines in Gantt charts while retaining the default color logic for progress, delays, and completion. Users can now change task colors via a context menu using a standard palette, ensuring better customization without disrupting progress tracking.

Stabilization

The changes are listed in the changelog and at the moment are oriented more on stabilization after some bigger technological steps in the major release.
